Teachers in Action

A few weeks ago, I was asked to teach a "special" lesson.

The marketing team is creating a new campaign for our Total Immersion program, in which the student comes for 10 lessons a day and has lunch with one of the teachers.

They wanted to take pictures of me and the student while I was teaching him and while we were having lunch. During the lesson, they had a video camera recording the whole class and they also took some photos. It was a double lesson, which means I was teaching with another teacher, Peter.

The lunch session was also recorded, which was actually kind of awkward, but the student and I had a good time talking about family, sports, business, and other everyday things.

I believe the photos will be published on Berlitz Japan's web site some time soon. The videos will be used internally only.

Anyways, that was the whole experience. Peter and I were a little nervous at the beginning but I think we did a great job! And the student was nice too so that helped a lot.
